Chaga Apple Cider

Chaga apple cider made in the slow cooker along with other warming spices. The perfect fall beverage that you can drink hot or cold!

Scale

Ingredients

8-10 apples, quartered

1 orange, quartered

1 tbsp chaga pieces

1 tbsp cinnamon or 3 sticks

6 cloves

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1 tsp allspice

1 tsp ashwagandha(optional)

3-6 tbsp maple syrup

water to cover

Instructions

Add all of the ingredients to your slow cooker. Cover with water and give it a little stir. Place the slow cooker on high for 5 hours.

After the cider has been cooking for 5 hours pour everything through a strainer. I like to do this twice to make it very smooth and clear. Taste and add more maple syrup as needed. Store in the fridge for a week. Drink hot or cold. Enjoy!
