When hummus and guacamole collide you get this creamy dip that is perfect for snacking on, using in wraps or on sandwiches. Bonus is that it takes less than ten minutes to prepare!
1 garlic clove
1 packed cup chopped cilantro
1 avocado
juice of 1 lime(about 4 tbsp) plus more to taste
1 1/2 cup cooked and cooled chickpeas (or one 15 oz can drained and rinsed)
1 medium avocado
1–2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp salt plus more to taste
cayenne pepper to taste
Add the garlic and cilantro to the food processor and pulse until the garlic is in tiny pieces. Add the chickpeas and process, scraping down the sides until combined. Add the avocado, lime juice, salt, cayenne and olive oil and process until smooth. Taste and add more lime juice, salt or olive oil as needed.
