Coffee. We have never really gotten along, coffee and I. I still have those childish tastebuds that scream yuck! whenever I take sip.
Convinced my tastebuds had grown up the first time I had coffee ice cream, I thought to myself oh heeeeey, this actually tastes good. Turns out I really just liked the sugar laden coffee flavour- not the coffee itself. I do however, love the smell of coffee. Whenever I walk into a local coffee shop and the aroma envelops me for a second I think maybe I should give this stuff another shot. That is pretty much where my relationship with coffee ends. You see, even if I did love coffee, coffee doesn’t love me. My heart starts pumping really fast and I get anxiety through the roof when I have coffee. Not really my idea of a good time.
Coffee still has a place in my life though. The odd time I will make a coffee flavoured dessert, or read up about how coffee is used in the beauty industry to combat things like cellulite and puffy eyes and I go buy myself all the coffee. Experiments begin and recipe testing commences and pretty soon I have a bathroom full of coffee everything.
This recipe is simple and it takes five minutes to make. That means that five minutes from now you could have silky smooth, cellulite free skin. Ok, not really, I have yet to see the cellulite free part actually transpire but fingers crossed. If you see a difference, please let me know and I will continue with all of the coffee experiments.
