Chocolate and Cherries. The combo that is often overshadowed by the ever popular chocolate/strawberries or chocolate/banana. But trust me! Don’t overlook this amazing combo, especially in ‘nice’ cream form.
I’m not sure why I haven’t shared this recipe with you before but it is what we make in our household ALL. THE. TIME. It is incredibly easy, uses only four ingredients, is vegan, paleo and refined sugar free and can be thrown together in a pinch. Chocolate Cherry Nice Cream will be your next go to dessert!

If you haven’t made a ‘nice’ cream before it’s incredibly easy. It usually involves frozen banana and some sort of nut milk thrown in a food processor and blended until it’s soft serve consistency. Here, instead of banana I used frozen sweet cherries (I usually get the organic ones from Costco) and I blended in some full fat coconut milk and cacao powder. Depending on how sweet your cherries are you can add maple syrup to taste but I usually don’t even add that. That’s it. It’s SO EASY! Top with your favourite fruit and you have yourself a delicious healthy dessert!

Chocolate Cherry Nice Cream (paleo, vegan)
A quick and easy ‘nice’ cream that doesn’t use banana and only has four ingredients!

2 cups organic frozen sweet cherries (pitted) (I usually buy them from Costco)
1/2 cup full fat coconut milk
1/4 cup cacao powder
1–2 tsp maple syrup or to taste (optional)
- Add all of the ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth and creamy.
- Serve with fresh fruit.
*If it becomes too liquid when you blend it simply pop it in the freezer for 15 minutes.
