Paleo Banana Date Muffins

Craving all of the warm and yummy baked goods from the oven? Yes, me too!  Luckily I have a few recipes up my sleeve that use only natural sugars and whole ingredients.  Like these Paleo Banana Date Muffins! They are sweetened only with bananas and dates and are warm, soft and perfect for those sweet treat cravings.  These are a new favourite around here and I plan on baking them again soon (as soon as I’m done eating my last batch;)!

This is not your typical pumpkin recipe. Nope. No PSL flavour here. There is no cinnamon in this recipe either. No nutmeg, no cloves, and no allspice. (I know! How can this be any good? But it is, trust me!)

There is however, fresh ginger, green apple and lemon making the most delicious, zingy smoothie. YAAAUM!

Chai Banana Snack Cake (paleo, dairy free)Sometimes on Mondays all you really need is a little cake.  Like this Chai Banana Snack Cake. Paleo, grain free, dairy free and absolutely delicious.

Don’t you love how it’s called a “snack” cake. It makes eating cake as a snack any time of the day legitimate.  Now I’m just waiting for the lunch cake and dinner cake trend to take off and I’m all set.

Semantics aside, this cake is moist, tender, flavourful and only has 2 tbsp of maple syrup in the whole thing! (what?!). It’s also full of chai spices like cardamom and cinnamon which smell amazing while it’s baking.  I feel like I could even call this recipe a “breakfast cake” because it definitely seems like a nice breakfast treat.
